Only if you have an Organization type account with the Apple Developer program will you get the option to invite developers. And only if you invite developers can they build your app, create certificates and upload your iPhone app to Apple on your behalf.

If your company is (or has recently changed its legal status to) a Corporation (Corp., Inc.), Limited Liability Company (LLC, LC, Ltd. Co.), or a legal entity (GmbH, Pvt Ltd., AG, KG, oHg,  etc.), you must enroll as an organization. Otherwise there is a possibility that your app might be rejected by Apple when releasing future updates.

To convert your account type, you have to submit a request to Apple Developer Program Support.

  1. Open the Contact us form on the Apple Developer Program.

  2. Log in with the Apple ID and password associated with your existing Apple Developer Program if necessary.

Fill out the form

  1. Select your region.

  2. Choose Account Updates and Renewals as your Subject.

  3. Fill out the Message section based on this template:

"I would like to convert my account type from Individual to Organization. My company currently does not hold an active Organization membership. Please refer to the information provided below. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the phone number listed. Thank you!"

Name: CEO's First and Last Name.
Organization Name: Your Company Name, including the entity type (Inc., Corp., LLC, LC, Ltd. Co. etc.). This name will show up in the App Store as your app's seller/developer name.
Account Type: Company / Organization
D-U-N-S® Number: What is a D-U-N-S number and where can I find it?
Address: Your Company Address
Phone Number: A phone number on which Apple can reach you for additional questions or for an account verification.

Then you can click Send to submit the form.

Within the next two weeks (or earliest, within the next few days) Apple will call the phone number listed to verify your enrollment. If another person will be answering the number you have listed, please make sure you have informed that person to expect this call.

After Apple calls and verifies your enrollment, you will receive an e-mail from Apple. Please follow the instructions in the e-mail to complete the conversion process.

Once you complete the process, you can go to our Admin Page, and notify our team through the chat option, or you could write us a short e-mail at [email protected].

That's it! Now you have converted your Apple Developer Program from an Individual account to an Organization account.
