The plugin is available for our users from the Core plan onwards.
Enabling the plugin
Step 1: Go to your Smart Search and Instant Search dashboard. You'll find the API key next right when you enter the page. Copy this API key
Step 2: Head over to the Plugins section of the Vajro dashboard, and click on View Collection
Step 3: You'll find Smart Search & Instant Search under the Search, Sort & Filter category, Click on it
Step 4: You'll see a dialog box on your screen requesting you to enter an API key. Paste the API key that was copied from the Smart Search & Instant Search in Step 1.
Make sure you turn on Instant Search Suggestions and Filters on Collections to get the most out of the plugin
NOTE:
“No Navigation” - the Filters on collections feature is disabled.
Filters will be supported only for the search results page.“Navigation through redirecting Shopify collection links” - the Filters on collections feature is set up. The app will replace all links to collections ([store_url]/collections/…) in your store with the links that lead to the page with the Search Results Widget ([store_url]/pages/search-results-page?collection=…). Therefore, by clicking on the collection link, you will view products in the Search Results Widget.
“Navigating through embedding HTML code into the Shopify template” – the theme code should be modified to use the collection template of our app instead of the theme default. In this case, you will view collection products in the Search Results Widget as in a first way, but collection links won’t be changed.
The drawback, in this case, would be that the Filters will be supported only for the search results page.
The filters will work perfectly in case they enable Navigation too (one of the other 2 options from the screenshot)
