Shopify makes periodic changes to the platform to keep it performing at its best. To comply with the latest requirements, we’ll need to update the iOS/Android app to the newest version. Accepting the Apple Developer Program License Agreement is mandatory before the app can be updated. This help document provides detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do that.
Step 1 - Login to Apple Developer account.
Step 2 -In the Homepage you will be able to see an error message stating The program license has been updated.
Step 3 - Click Review Agreement on the message to view the updated terms.
Step 4 - Please go through the terms and conditions and then click Agree to finish.
⚠️ Dashboard Warning: Action Required
If you see a warning in your dashboard, it usually means there is a required update from Apple that needs your attention.
To resolve this and keep your app running smoothly, please follow the 4 steps laid out above to accept the new license agreement.
Note: Once you have clicked "Agree," it typically takes 24 hours for the warning to disappear from your dashboard.
What happens if I ignore the Apple red banner?
If the agreement is not signed:
You cannot push any new updates (like icon changes or bug fixes).Your app may eventually be removed from the App Store by Apple.
