Push notifications are the best way to keep in touch with your customers and engage with them. With Vajro, you can choose to send out custom notifications manually or send out automated notifications for specific scenarios.

Sending Notifications Manually

Head over to Vajro’s dashboard and go to the Push Notifications section.

You can do a bunch of things on the console! To start with, pick where you want your notifications to go. You get to choose if the notifications go to devices that run on Android or iOS or both.

Give your notification a title and a message. Make sure the title is less than 50 characters or it will get cut off when your customers see it. You can also include images or GIFs to make it eye-catching and convey more information. The recommended size for the image or GIF is 1000px X 500px. It’s optional, but we recommend using media to make your notifications enticing.

For iOS users, you can send notifications with a video on them. The max video size is 50mb, and we support the following formats:

  • MPEG

  • MPEG4

  • AVI

  • MP4

Note: Videos are available only from the Power Premium plan.

You need to then set up the link to which the notification will redirect to, when your shoppers click on it. This can be a product page, collection page, rewards page, or the home page.

Vajro also lets you send notifications to specific audiences. You have the following options to send personalized notifications:

And finally, schedule your notifications to go out right away or at a particular time by selecting the “Schedule later” option
