Social login offers an easy way for your shoppers to log in to your app using their social accounts, thus reducing password fatigue. Minimize cart abandonment and facilitate faster checkouts with Social login.

To enable social login, you will have to invite Vajro to your Firebase and Facebook accounts and ensure they’re linked to your mobile app.

Inviting Vajro as a collaborator to your Firebase and Facebook Developer accounts will enable the team to take care of connecting both these accounts to the mobile app. The team will then enable the feature and roll out an app update for your users.

Social login for Facebook and Firebase are available for our users on all pricing plans.

Step 1: Click on Add project.

Step 2: Enter your Project name.

Step 3: Click on Continue.

Step 4: Ensure the Enable Google Analytics for this project toggle button is ON, and click Continue.

Step 5: Select your Google Analytics account. Click on Create a new account if you don’t already have one.

Step 6: Enter your Google Analytics account name.

Step 7: Once you’re done, select the Analytics location.

Step 8: Click on the checkbox to accept the Google Analytics terms.

Step 9: Click Create project.

A new Google Analytics account will be created along with your project once you’re done.

When the Vajro team is invited as an Owner of the project, we will be able to configure authentication to enable Google Login and also manage the Google Analytics associated with the project.

Step 1: Log in to your Firebase account. Go to Project Overview > Users and permissions.

Step 2: Click Add member.

Step 3: Enter [email protected] under the Email address, and select Owner under Role.

Step 4: Once you’re done, click Add member.

Once you’re done adding Vajro as a collaborator to your Firebase account, reach out to the team using the chat icon at the bottom right corner of your Vajro dashboard and we will enable Google login to your shoppers. You can also write to us at [email protected].

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook Developer account and go to My Apps.

Step 2: Click on the Create App button.

Step 3: Select Authenticate and request data from users with Facebook Login and click Next.

Step 4: Select No, I’m not building a game and click Next.

Step 5: Enter the details under Add an app name and App contact email. Click on the Create app button.

Before inviting Vajro to your Facebook Developer account, your business needs to be verified. Here’s how you can do that:

Step 1: Go to the App Dashboard on your Facebook Developer account. Head to App settings > Basic > Verifications.

Step 2: Click Start Verification.

Step 3: Click on the Get Started button.

Step 4: Select your country and click on the Next button.

Step 5: Fill in all the details and click the Next button.

Once you’re done with this, you will be requested to submit proof of your business.

Step 1: Go to App roles > Roles.

Step 2: Under App roles, click on the Add People button.

Step 3: Assign Administrator as the role, and enter kishore271996 as the Facebook Developer account to be added to the app. Once you’re done, click Add.

Once you complete the process, reach out to the Vajro team using the chat button on your Vajro dashboard or write to us at [email protected]. We will then enable Facebook login for your app.
