Creating an Apple Developer Account

Step 1: Visit the Apple Developer Account enrollment page by clicking this link: https://developer.apple.com/enroll/. Sign in to your Apple account. Create an Apple ID if you don't have one yet!

Step 2: Click on the checkbox under the Terms and Conditions, and click on Submit

Step 3: You'll be redirected to the Apple Developer dashboard. Click on "Join the Apple Developer program" to proceed.

Step 4: Click on the Enroll button at the top right corner of the screen

Step 5: Scroll down and click on Start your Enrollment

Step 6: Enter and confirm your personal information

Click on Continue when you're done.

Step 7: Now, select your entity type. An entity type would mostly be the Company/Organization (if you have a proper registered company). If you don't have a registered business or if you're running the Sole Proprietorship business you can choose the first option - Individual / Sole Proprietor / Single Person Business.

Pick the type that's applicable to you and hit Continue

Individual/Sole Proprietor Account

Step 1: You'll need to accept their policies by clicking on the check box below the agreement, and click Continue

Step 2: Verify the details and click on Purchase.

Note: Apple Developer account enrollment costs $99 a year

Step 3: Enter your payment details

Enter the billing address and click on Continue

Step 4: Finally, enter your personal information and click on Continue

Once your payment is complete, within 48 hours you will receive an e-mail from Apple requesting you to activate your account. Click the link in the email to activate it.

Once you click the activation link, your developer account will be activated.


Company/Organization Account

Step 1: You'll see an enrollment checklist. Go through it and click on Continue

Step 2: Enter your organization details and your DUNS number, and click on Continue

DUNS number is something assigned by D&B to all the businesses around the world. If you don't know your DUNS number or if you haven't got one yet, you can get it free by filling in your company details in this link: https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/#/search.

Note: If you want to bypass the DUNS number just sign up as an Individual. You just need to remember that your name will appear as the developer in the iTunes store.

Step 3: Enter all the details requested of you

Step 4: Confirm your authority to create the developer account on behalf of your organization and click on Continue

You'll get redirected to a confirmation page, and then an email containing your enrollment ID. Watch out for a verification phone call as well from Apple. Once everything is finalized, you'll receive a link to the payment page.

Inviting Vajro to you Apple Developer Account

We will need an invite to your Developer Accounts so that we can submit the store's app on your behalf.

Apple's processes tend to be a bit complex in their effort to keep things legit and free of fraud. That's also where their reputation lies.

There are two types of Apple Developer Accounts:

  • Individuals or sole proprietors/single person businesses. Apps are listed under the developer's personal name.

  • Organization Account. Apps are listed under the organization's legal entity name. Companies and educational institutions must provide a D-U-N-S Number (available for free) registered to their legal entity during the enrollment process.


Individual Account

For individual accounts, you will have to give us access to the Apple App Store Connect website and setup Apple Developer Account. Apple App Store Connect is the site where we need to upload screenshots and store descriptions, and communicate with Apple.

To send the invitation,

Step 1: Log in to App Store Connect

Step 2: Select "Users and Access"

Step 3: Under the Users and Access section, click on the "+" sign under iTunes Connect users

Step 4: Fill in the details as mentioned below in the dialog box on your screen

First Name: Vajro
Last name: Team
Email ID: [email protected]

Make sure you select the role as Admin and click Invite

Note: Once you sent the invite, please do contact us using the chat button for Apple Developer Account setup.

Once the Apple Developer Account setup is done we would be app to upload the app in one business day. Apple would take 24-48 hours to approve the app in the App Store.

Organization Account

To invite Vajro to your Apple developer Account(Organization account)

Step 1: Go to https://developer.apple.com/account/ and log in using your Apple Developer Account

Step 2: In the Overview section, click on People

Step 3: Once you get to the People section, click on "Go to App Store Connect"

Step 4: In App Store Connect, click on Users and Access

Step 5: Click on the "+" button as shown in the image below

Step 5: Fill in the details as mentioned below in the dialog box on your screen

First Name: Vajro
Last name: Team
Email ID: [email protected]

Make sure you select the role as "Admin" and click Invite

Note: Once you send the invite, we will proceed to uploading the app in one business day, and Apple usually takes 24-48 hours to approve the app in the App Store.
